The average cost of a wedding unexpectedly increases by 34% from $16,546 in Q2 2009 to $22,121 in Q3 2009. Increased demand and October being the busiest month in 2009 contributed to the increase. Results based on 750 survey samples of brides, grooms, and wedding vendors across the US. Average cost based on weighted average demand.
